She has been exhibiting and selling her art in local galleries and Art Associations since the latter part of the 1970's. With her education in the Fine Arts, Carla has gone on to receive such awards as:

the "MacFarlane Award" from the University of Alberta

the "Card/Alling Scholarship" from the Edmonton Art Club.

I want to impart my enjoyment in what I have presented. Success is having the viewers see what I ham trying to achieve in my paintings."
