"Trees a Crowd" by Diane Way

Please join us on November 5 from 1 to 4 pm for the opening reception of fine water media paintings.

Many of us have a childhood connection to the forest. We built tree houses and forts, scrambled up trees, fell out of trees, and observed lively birds flit from branch to branch.  Forests are central to all human life.  As the International Year of Forests draws to a close this exhibit is a reflection on our grown up emotional and spiritual relationship with the forest.  Many of us can’t climb trees anymore.  My hope is that through these paintings, you can look up, smell, remember and imagine.  Trees are my crowd.
